2015 Woodstock Deep Sands Shiraz

Includes a 14% Cabernet Sauvignon component. Totally opaque pitch black core with a deep dark red black hue. The nose offers up aromas of aniseed, dark plum and vanillin oak with some spice also evident. Rich and voluptuous in its texture this full bodied Shiraz also possesses a decent chunk of vanillin oak which lingers on the back palate. Liquorice/aniseed flavours are to the fore with blackberries and spice also present. There’s an underlying sturdiness to the velvety tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
