2015 Turkey Flat Vineyards Shiraz

Excellent colour displaying an inky black dark purple core with a deep dark purple hue. Nosing offers up a scented profile of ripe blueberries, liquorice and dark plums over vanillin cedar and spicy dried herbs. Medium to full bodied with the blue fruits dominate over the blacker fruits, the palate has a youthful freshness to it with inky dark blueberries, liquorice and dark plums underscored by vanillin cedar. Finishes spicy with bright acidity and slightly chalky but otherwise fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark blueberries, liquorice, dark plum, vanillin cedar and earth.
