2015 Tatiarra Cambrian Shiraz (375ml)

Prodigiously long and powerful this outstanding Shiraz still manages to show impressive finesse.

Superb depth of colour featuring an impenetrable midnight black core with an equally deep black dark red hue. Potent aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and black cherries waft from the glass over toasty vanillin oak, hints of smoked meats and blackpepper. Decadently rich and opulently textured the palate still manages to display impressive finesse despite its size and power. A tidal wave of liquorice, ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit cascades across the palate engulfing every inch of the mouth. Beneath this is well integrated vanillin oak, infusions of iron and graphite as well as abundant pepper and spice. Ripe yet robust tannins provide a muscular feel. Prodigious length with an especially long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, black cherries, vanillin cedar, iron like infusions and pepper.
