2015 Tapanappa Fleurieu Pinot Noir

This is made from declassified Foggy Hill Pinot Noir fruit. Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Powerful aromatics waft from the glass lead by fragrances of violets meshed into a combination of red, dark and sour cherries followed by anise, toasty cedar and spice. Light and supple in the mouth but possessing good power the palate is charged with flavours of spicy dark and red cherries, strawberries, some sappy cedar and anise. Silky smooth, beautifully integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of red and dark cherries, sappy cedar, faint anise and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
