2015 St Mary's Shiraz

Aged in French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Elevated scents of liquorice, ripe blackberries and choc mint drift out of the glass followed by lightly dusted vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with a fleshy mouthfeel the palate is filled with blackberry flavours that are infused with choc mint over chocolate bullets, vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste of juicy blackberries laced with mint, chocolate bullets and spicy vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
