2015 Speri La Roverina Valpolicella Classico Superiore

Certified organic this is a blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Roninella, 5% Molinara and 5% Oseleta that was aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Ripe plum and Morello cherry aromas combine over earth, vanillin cedar and spicy herb infusions. Light to medium weight, fruity plum and ripe cherry flavours are prevalent over light earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Finishes bright with fresh acidity and finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of plummy ripe cherries, earthy vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
