2015 Smidge Houdini Shiraz

Superb colour density with an inky black core and deep dark red black hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberries dominate the nose followed by vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied, rich and impressively concentrated the palate is decorated with lavish flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries and black cherries with some toasty vanillin oak infusions also present. Spicy finish with some heat present. The tannins velvety but possessing an underlying sturdiness. Excellent power with an aftertaste of spicy liquorice, ripe black cherries and toasty vanillin oak.
