2015 Schwarz Wine Co. Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose shows good intensity with fragrant aromas of dark plum and liquorice laced with hints of dried clove sitting over subtle infusions of fennel, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper. Rich with a soft velvety feel the palate dishes up a savoury flavour profile of dark plums and liquorice subtlety infused with light dried clove, fennel, smoky vanillin cedar and pepper. Silky smooth, barely discernible tannins. Excellent power with a long delicious aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, fennel, subtle dried cloves and pepper.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
