2015 Rusden Ripper Creek Shiraz Cabernet

A blend of 80% Shiraz and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated ripe dark plum, cherry liqueur and liquorice aromas dominate the nose over lightly toasted vanillin oak, spice and faint dried herb end notes. Full bodied and plush in texture the palate is filled with sweet jammy flavours of dark plum, cherry liqueur and cola flavours which sit over some prominent vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins and soft acidity. Long aftertaste of plum jam, cherry liqueur, cola, vanillin oak and a hint of spiced raisins.
Drink over the next 3-4 years. Alc 14.8%
