2015 Rusden Chookshed Zinfandel

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose exhibits jammy aromas of black plum and black raspberries intermixed with liquorice, vanillin oak and spice. Big on weight the palate displays a similar profile to the nose filled with very ripe jammy flavours of raspberries and plum over some liquorice, vanillin oak, raisins and cinnamon spice. Soft velvety tannins and low acidity with a juicy opulent textural feel. Aftertaste of jammy black raspberries, dark plums, vanillin oak, raisins and spicy cinnamon.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
