2015 Rockcliffe Third Reef Shiraz

A Rich Opulent West Australia Shiraz threaded with a peppery meatiness.

Excellent colour saturation displaying an inky black dark red core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Intense aromatics of ripe blackberries and liquorice meld in to some toasty oak followed by dried meat and blackpepper end notes. Luscious black fruits fill the palate sitting alongside some liquorice with underlying toasty oak, meaty characters and smoky pepper. Admirable richness and concentration with an opulent mouthfeel and a robust tannin structure largely concealed. Slightly dryish finish with a long savoury conclusion of spicy black fruits, liquorice, toasty oak, dried meats and blackpepper.
