2015 Roaring 40's Pinot Noir

Good depth with a deep dark red black tinged core and a bright dark red hue. Nosing offers up initial hints of violets followed by ripe dark cherries laced with incense and lightly smoked vanillin cedar followed by subtle clove end notes. Deliciously savoury and supple in the mouth the palate dishes up moreish flavours of ripe dark cherries, plums and strawberries over some anise, lightly toasted oak and spice. Perfectly integrated tannin structure. Good power with a long finish of ripe dark cherries, plum and strawberries laced with anise and spicy toasted oak. A Pinot with excellent richness and length.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
