2015 Renato Ratti Ochetti Nebbiolo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright light red hue. Nosing reveals red and dried cherry aromas laced with herbs over some earthy tobacco characters and spice. Very generous and forward for Nebbiolo the palate features ripe cherry, dried cherry and strawberry flavours laced with fresh herbs over some old vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Finishes with bright acidity and slightly dryish tannins which impart a little bit of grip to the back palate. Aftertaste of ripe red cherries, strawberries, some dried cherries, fresh herb infusions, vanillin cedar and spicy earth.
Cellar 5-6 years.
