2015 Reillys R Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Totally opaque black colour with a deep dark red black hue. A touch subdued the nose slowly releases aromas of blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, scorched earth and spicy cedar tobacco like characters. Full bodied with good density to the spicy blackcurrant fruit which is framed by chewy tannins, there’s also elements of cedary tobacco characters, black olive and scorched earth evident. Dry, firmish finish with an aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters, scorched earth and black olive.
Cellar 4-5 years.
