2015 Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling

The Hanlin Hill vineyard was planted in 1968 and is on a west facing slope on the eastern edge of the Clare Valley. The soils are predominantly red loam over slate, and the vineyard runs up to 550 metres above sea level.

A Rich, very concentrated Riesling

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime and orange rind jump out of the glass followed by some green apple, talc and spice. Very concentrated palate delivering mouthfilling flavours of lime, orange rind and citrus over some talc and spice. Clean crisp acidity provides the wine with a tangy finish. Excellent length with a long conclusion of lime, orange rind, citrus, talc and spice.
Drink now or cellar 5-6 years.
