2015 Penny's Hill Edwards Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep bright dark red black hue. Lifted blackcurrant and liquorice fruit aromatics drift from the glass with vanillin cedar, tobacco and spice notes ensuing. Full bodied the palate is filled with luscious rich blackcurrant and mulberry flavours. Some liquorice is also present over cedary tobacco and spice characters. Chewy finish with a youthfully firm tannin structure. Drying aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
