2015 Pedestal Chardonnay

Matured in French oak for 8 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish highlight around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of nectarine and dried apple are intermixed with dried honey and cashew followed by spicy nougat end notes. Light to medium weight and quite fresh the palate has elegant flavours of nectarine, cashew, subtle dried honey and spice. Clean dry finish with fine acidity and an aftertaste of nectarine, dried honey, cashew and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
