Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Nosing offers up ripe dark cherry, strawberry and anise aromas followed by infusions of fresh herbs. Light to mid weight with a generous, supple feel, rich spicy dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits fill the mouth along with some anise and earthy fresh herb characters. Good fresh acidity on the finish with velvety tannins and ample power to the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Other Reviews….
All estate grown. 390 dozen. Creamy oak adds velvet to the texture but the fruit sizzles through, all red cherry and sweet-sour plum, spice notes studded throughout. It's in impeccable form and shape, its lines of tannin helping to usher it all along and keep things neat without interrupting the momentum a jot. Maybe there's some warmth but the fan of flavours doesn't really give it space to show. It's a lovely pinot, for now or later. Drink by 2025.
