2015 Narkoojee Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose features a ripe aromatic profile of black cherries and anise followed by some dark plum, toasty oak and spice. Medium weight the palate has good richness and flesh but lacks some carry and drive. Generous flavours of ripe black cherries and anise overlay toasty oak with a spicy finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of spicy black cherries, anise and toasty oak.
Cellar 3-4 years.
