Totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of liquorice, choc mint and dark plum overlay a backdrop of toasty oak and spice. Impressive weight and richness for its price with succulent blackberry, liquorice and dark choc mint flavours dominate over some toasty oak and spice. Slightly dry on the finish with velvety tannins and a supple round mouthfeel. Aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, choc mint and spicy toasted oak.
