2015 Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Vineyard Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Nosing reveals a mix of red currant and mulberry scents which sit over some earthy tobacco, vanillin cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Very elegant and refined the palate has an underlying earthiness to the mulberry and red currant fruits. Spicy vanillin cedar and light tobacco elements are also evident. Finishes dry with finely structured, slightly gravelly tannins. Aftertaste of spicy mulberries, red currant, subtle earth, vanillin cedar and traces of dried herbs.
