Excellent depth displaying an impenetrable black as night core with a bright dark purple red hue. Aromas of spicy dark plums and liquorice overlay vanillin cedar with blackpepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous blackberry and liquorice flavours infused with crushed rock. Vanillin cedar and spicy pepper following on. A solidly built tannin structure provides the framework. Aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, notions of crushed rock, vanillin cedar and pepper.
