2015 Maxwell Little Demon Cabernet Merlot

A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. The nose shows good elevation with aromatics of ripe blackcurrant and mulberries laced with subtle cedary tobacco characters drifting out of the glass. Also evident is some bay leaf and spice. Medium to full bodied the generous palate features mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherries and traces of mulberry over a back drop of cedary tobacco characters and delicate spicy bay leaf infusions. Supple mouthfeel with velvety tannins and an aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherries, mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
