2015 Marcus Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Showing good aromatic lift the nose throws up scents of ripe peaches tinged with apricot and dried honey followed by toasty oak and spice. Medium bodied with a sense of creaminess to the mid palate but a dry fresh finish, there’s flavours of peaches apricot and bees wax over some light cashew, a hint of toast and spicy nougat. Aftertaste of peaches and apricots laced with bees wax and spicy nougat. A medium weight, elegantly creamy Chardonnay.
Cellar 3-4 years.
