2015 Loosen Bros. Dr L Riesling

This is the entry level Riesling of the Loosen range, which is made in a bright, vibrant, fruit driven style. Fruit is sourced from contracted growers located throughout the Mosel River Valley who work very closely with brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen to achieve excellent fruit quality and concentration every vintage.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of red apples and pears are lightly coated with honeysuckle and followed by faint quince notes. There’s a rounded textural feel to the mid palate with lively red apple and honeysuckle flavours intermingling with ripe pear and subtle spice. Medium dry finish with well balanced acidity. Aftertaste of ripe red apples, honeysuckle, pears and light spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
