2015 Levantine Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a light greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Delicate white peach, pear and citrus aromas evolve from the glass followed by some cashew, faint nougat and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has an elegant creaminess and is subtlety flavoured with white peaches, touches of dried honey, pears, cashew and spice. Very Burgundian like. Clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of white peaches, dried honey, pears and spicy cashew. Requires some patience to reveal all its wares.
Cellar 5-6 years.
