Full bodied, rich and velvety the palate’s initial opulent blackberry and liquorice flavours are overwhelmed by some prominent toasty vanillin oak. Subtle dark chocolate and spice elements are also present. Silky smooth tannins. Aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, prominent toasty oak and spicy dark chocolate.

Other Reviews….
From three vineyards, fermented and matured in new French (75%) and American (25%) oak, spending 29 months in barrel. This is not just FB (full-bodied), it is 2FB. How much more flavour can you get in a bottle? The points are given within the context of its style. Drink by 2045.
