2015 Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Fresh plum and liquorice aromas bounce out of the glass followed by hints of ripe blueberries, vanillin cedar and spicy dried herbs. Bright and fleshy the medium to full bodied palate has flavours of rich dark plums, liquorice and ripe blueberries which run into vanillin cedar and spice. Fresh finish with finely grained velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of dark plums, blueberries, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
