2015 Jeanneret Cabernet Malbec

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Malbec matured in oak for 15 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. A combination of ripe blackcurrant and plum aromas are trailed by cedary tobacco infusions, dried herbs and spice. Rich blackcurrant flavours flood the medium to full bodied palate with a touch of liquorice also chiming in over subtle cedary tobacco characters, traces of earth and spicy dried herbs. Dry, slightly chewy finish with fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and spicy dried herbs.
