Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant aromatics of dark raspberries, infusions of incense and liquorice are followed by dried herbs and spicy vanillin cedar. Light to medium weight with an abundance of juicy fruit and a velvety mouthfeel the palate sports a delicious flavour profile of succulent dark raspberries, plum and spice. Some liquorice, vanillin cedar and faint scorched earth nuances are also evident. Finishes bright and spicy with silky smooth tannins. Long and savoury with an aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, plum, subtle liquorice, vanillin cedar and hints of scorched earth.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
