2015 Higher Plane Cabernet Merlot

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted red and black currant aromas as well as mulberry are subtlety overlaid by dried herb characters with cedary tobacco nuances and spice ensuing. Medium to full bodied with good richness and plenty of drying tannin to provide structure, the palate has flavours of red currant and mulberries infused with dried herbs over spicy cedary tobacco characters. Very dry, firm finish with an aftertaste of mulberries, dried herbs, red currant and spicy cedary tobacco characters.
Cellar 6-8 years.
