Despite being matured in predominately (85%) French oak barriques for 12 months this Chardonnay shows virtually no signs of wood at present being very vibrant and fresh.
Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges. Aromas of delicate white peach are intermixed with green apple, citrus and faint mineral. Light and very fresh the palate has flavours of pear, green apple and citrus with a touch of flinty minerality on the zippy finish. Aftertaste of fresh pears, green apple, citrus and flinty minerality.
