Cellar: Drink now - 5 Years (2017-2022)
ABV: 13.5%

Fruit was sourced from the Tumbarumba, Yarra Valley, Margaret River, Adelaide Hills and Pemberton regions to make this wine. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Nosing reveals aromas of nectarines and ripe pears laced with hints of dried honey, biscuity oak and spicy nougat. Rich and textured the palate is filled with ripe white peach and nectarine flavours intermixed with dried honey over some subtle biscuity oak and spicy nougat. Good freshness on the finish counterpoints the creamy textural feel. Excellent length with a long ripe peach, dried honey, biscuity nougat and spice aftertaste. A textured, intensely flavoured Chardonnay.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Bin D664. A blend of grapes from Tumbarumba, Yarra Valley, Margaret River, Adelaide Hills and Pemberton, all separately barrel-fermented and matured until the complicated blending trials took place with Paul Lapsley wielding the baton. It is intense and powerful, the flavours of perfectly ripened cool grown chardonnay paying little or no attention to the oak. Drink by 2028.
