2015 Guthrie The Snare Syrah

Wild fermented with 40% whole bunches and matured in seasoned French oak. Opaque purple black colour with a bright purple hue. Fragrant aromas of freshly crushed dark cherries and plum intermix with some liquorice, subtle incense infusions, inky earth nuances and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has juicy dark cherry, plum and subtle liquorice flavours over some inky earth characters and spice. Bright, crunchy finish with velvet smooth tannins and an aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, traces of liquorice and inky earth characters.
Cellar 3-4 years.
