Totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum rise from the glass overlaying toasty vanillin oak and spice. Rich and juicy the full bodied palate is teeming with lusciously textured black fruit flavours that include blackberries, liquorice and dark plum underscored by lightly toasted vanillin oak and spice. Round opulent mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, blackberries, subtlety toasted vanillin cedar and spice.
