2015 Grampians Estate Mafeking Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Spicy ripe red cherry, plum and liquorice aromas merge with vanillin cedar and light pepper end notes. Medium bodied the palate sports juicy flavours of blackberries, ripe red cherries and subtle infusions of liquorice over lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spicy pepper characters. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, red cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
