2015 Giant Steps Tarraford Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peaches and nectarine are followed by some biscuity oak and gun flint with dried honey and nougat end notes. Medium bodied with an understated elegance, good richness and a slightly creamy textural feel the palate has flavours of ripe white peaches married to some dried honey and nectarine with underlying biscuity nougat and spice nuances. Clean dry finish. Some bottle age will see the wine fill out and further enhance its texture. Long aftertaste of white peaches infused with dried honey, biscuity nougat and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
