2015 Gemtree Uncut Shiraz

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Impenetrable inky black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Intense aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plums and liquorice drift out of the glass followed by hints of dark chocolate, vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and concentrated with terrific purity of fruit, opulently textured flavours of succulent ripe blackberries, dark plums and liquorice flood the mouth underpinned by traces of dark chocolate, vanillin cedar and spice. Silky smooth tannins enhance the plushness of fruit. Excellent length with a long finish of succulent ripe blackberries, dark plums, liquorice, lightly smoked vanillin and spice. A heady opulently textured McLaren Vale Shiraz filled with lashings of succulent ripe fruit.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
