2015 Etienne Boileau Montmains Chablis Premier Cru

Produced from 25 and 55 year old vines and aged 100% in stainless steel tanks. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted aromas of fresh pears and lime meld into hints of dried honey, wet stone and faint mineral. Rich flavours of pears and dried honey intermix with subtle biscuity oak over a slatey back drop with traces of mineral also present. Full, rounded mouthfeel with brisk acidity on the dry finish. Excellent depth with a lengthy finish of pear, dried honey, wet slate, subtle cashew and light spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Stern, bracing mineral nose. Rich and full-bodied, the palate is very ripe and concentrated, but there's a firm mineral grip on the mid-palate. Structured and long, with considerable power on the finish. 2018 - 2026.
