2015 Eperosa Synthesis Grenache Mataro

A rich, powerful Grenache blend that seduces the senses.

A blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Mataro. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted dark raspberry and more subtle liquorice aromas run into some meaty dried herb notes followed by earth and spice. Very rich and concentrated the palate is awash with succulent dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours which sit over a backdrop of vanillin cedar and some subtle dried herb infusions. Finishes very spicy with velvet smooth tannins. Outstanding power with a long aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, dark plums, a touch of liquorice, dried herbs and spicy vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
