2015 Eccolo Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherries subtlety infused with dried herbs followed by dusty cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate features generous spicy dark cherry flavours over some earth old cedar and dried herb infusions. Dry savoury finish with bright acidity and finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of spiced dark cherries, earthy dried herbs and old vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
