2015 Domaine William Fevre Chablis

Founded by William Fevre in 1957 the domaine has grown to now become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which 15.9 hectares are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus.

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Showing good aromatic intensity pear and citrus scents are overlaid by some light dried honey with hints of cashew and stony characters following on. Quite full and rounded in the mouth flavours of ripe pear and subtle dried honey sit over elements of cashew, citrus and stony characters. Finishes dry with well balanced acidity and an aftertaste of pear, subtle dried honey, wet stone, citrus and biscuity cashew. A fuller style of Chablis with plenty of drinking appeal.
