2015 Domaine Naturaliste Discovery Cabernet Sauvignon

After nearly 3 decades of working with various Margaret River producers, including a significant tenure at Pierro, winemaker Bruce Dukes launched his own brand, Domaine Naturaliste.

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. An elevated combination of red and blackcurrant along with mulberry fruit sits over background scents of cedary tobacco characters, black olives and traces of bay leaf. Medium to full bodied yet showing good refinement, rich red and blackcurrant flavours meld in to mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, black olives and infusions of bay leaf. Dry spicy finish with sturdy, dusty tannins providing an excellent framework. Excellent concentration and depth with a long conclusion of spicy red and blackcurrant, ripe mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, black olives and traces of bay leaf. An excellent entry level Cabernet from Margaret River.
