2015 De Bortoli Woodfired Heathcote Shiraz

Superb inky black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Freshly scented aromas of liquorice and crushed blackberries are followed by some confectionary with black pepper end notes. Rich and juicy with a youthful inkiness to the mouth feel the palate has flavours of liquorice, blackberries, crushed rock and blackpepper. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins providing structure. Aftertaste of liquorice, pen ink, freshly crushed blackberries, crushed rocks and blackpepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
