2015 Coulter Wines C2 Sangiovese

100% whole bunch ferment and basket pressed into 3 year old Hungarian oak barrels. Bright cherry red colour with a crimson purple hue. Aromas of freshly crushed cherries and incense are followed by subtle earth and spicy cedar. Light and fruity the palate has flavours of macerated cherries and plum over some subtle earthy cedar and spice. Bright finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of freshly crushed berries, faint earth and spicy cedar. A simple, youthful Sangiovese.
