2015 Costanzo & Sons Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

100% barrel fermented and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Grassy asparagus and fresh herb aromas meld into some pencil shaving characters followed by citrus and spice. The palate opens with good richness and a full textural feel finishing with fresh acidity. It features an intriguing flavour profile of ripe citrus fruits intermixed with herbaceous grassy infusions, asparagus, pencil shaving characters and spicy dried herbs. Long spicy aftertaste of herbaceous grassy characters, asparagus, dried herbs and pencil shaving characters derived from the time in oak.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
