2015 Cape Mentelle Brooks Chardonnay

Bright pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted white peach and ripe nectarine aromas intermingle with dried honey and flinty gun flint characters followed by traces of citrusy nougat and spice. Rich and creamy in texture, mouthfilling flavours of ripe white peaches and nectarines infused with gun flint characters sit over a backdrop of citrus and spice. Clean dry finish with perfectly balanced acidity freshening things up just enough on the back palate. Long aftertaste of white peaches, ripe nectarines, infusions of gun flint and spicy citrus.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
