2015 Brown Magpie Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Ripe dark cherry and liquorice scents are overlaid by some toasty vanillin cedar with blackpepper end notes. Medium bodied the palate is generously fruited with ripe dark cherry, blackberry and liquorice flavours overshadowed by toasty vanillin oak which is a shade too prominent. Spicy earth and pepper nuances follow on. Velvet smooth tannins enhance the suppleness of the mouthfeel. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak, earth and pepper.
