2015 Bleasdale Frank Potts

A blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 13% Malbec and 9% Petit Verdot. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Scented aromas of blackcurrant and dark cherry tinged with a hint of black olive overlay cedary tobacco characters with subtle bay leaf end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of red currants and dark cherries that sit alongside a touch of liquorice followed by cedary tobacco characters, light infusions of bay leaf and spice. Dryish finish with sturdy, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of red currants, dark cherries, cedary tobacco characters, black olive and spicy bay leaf.
