2015 Bent Creek Black Dog Shiraz

Matured for 14 months in French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas rise from the glass over vanillin oak and blackpepper. Full bodied, lashings of succulent black fruits including blackberries, black cherries and chocolate bullets saturate the palate with underlying toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper. A set of sturdy tannins carry the opulent fruit well and impart a slight chewiness to the mouthfeel. Medium to long ripe black cherry, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and blackpepper aftertaste.
